Is there a minimum contract?
You'll be billed on a monthly basis (exception for fridges, which are rented on a semester basis). You can cancel anytime without penalty charges. If you cancel mid-semester, you'll be billed for the rest of the month (or year for fridges) that you cancelled but not after.
What if my move out date is in the middle of the month?
You'll be billed till the end of the month. Are you a couple of days late? Just let us know at [email protected] and we probably won't charge you.
Is there any way I can own an appliance?
Absolutely! All payments count towards ownership. At the end of the academic year, you'll have the choice to pay the remainder of the product's list price plus $1 to keep it.
What happens if I damage / lose my item?

. Depending on the damage, you might have to pay for repairs or the remainder of the list price of the item minus any payments you have already made. If the device stops working due to a manufacturing defect, then we'll deal with it and send you a new one immediately, at no added cost.
How do I return items?
Towards the end of the semester, we'll send you an email with return shipping labels for smaller items and instructions for larger items. If you'd like to return something in the middle of the semester, email us at

We work with manufacturers and place bulk orders. This allows us to provide new and like-new appliances at an affordable price.
